Board of Education 

The Walled Lake Consolidated Schools Board of Education is a seven-member elected board that volunteers countless hours to serve Oakland County's largest school district with 19 schools. The board members are not employees of the district. Each of the seven members serves a six-year term. The community elects Board of Education members each November in the general election.  The board meets monthly on the first Thursday of each month at the Educational Services Center, 850 Ladd Rd., Building D, Walled Lake. The purpose of the board is to create policies that are in line with state and federal laws and the district’s mission, to demonstrate fiscal responsibility and adopt a balanced budget annually, and to hire and evaluate the superintendent of schools.
