Parent Advisory Council (PAC)
The Oakland County Parent Advisory Committee represents each LEA/PSA within Oakland County. Parent representatives have a child/children with a disability(ies) and are appointed by the LEA/PSA and Oakland County School Boards. The committee participates in the development and review of the Oakland Schools County Plan for Delivery of Special Education Programs and Services. The PAC also provides advisory input on matters regarding improvement of Special Education services within the ISD. More information about PAC

Dance Classes for Students
Registration for a dance program designed for children and young adults with disabilities entitled: “Everybody Dance Now” is now open. This therapeutic dance program is being offered by the Miracle League of Michigan program partnering with local studios and Dance Masters of Michigan.
Dance classes begin early November and are from 6:30 – 7:30 operating from two studios; the greater Oakland County site being “The Dance Shoppe” 3549 Airport Rd. Waterford, MI 48329. Participants will be invited to perform at the Easterseals Michigan holiday gala on December 2 in Waterford, MI.
