Parent Advisory Council (PAC)

The Oakland County Parent Advisory Committee represents each LEA/PSA within Oakland County. Parent representatives have a child/children with a disability/disabilities and are appointed by the LEA/PSA and Oakland County School Boards. The committee participates in the development and review of the Oakland Schools County Plan for Delivery of Special Education Programs and Services. The PAC also provides advisory input on matters regarding improvement of Special Education services within the ISD. More information about PAC

Events and Learning Opportunities

Tuesday, January 23rd from 6:30-8:00 PM: Parent Learning Night

Our Walled Lake Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) invites you to an evening of parent learning opportunities around technology for students with IEPs. We will have Walled Lake Special Service staff members presenting on the following topics:

  • Snap and Read
  • Co:Writer
  • Apps for academics
  • Assistive and augmentative communications options
  • SETT, a process for determining the need for assistive technology

The sessions will take place at the Educational Services Building, 850 Ladd Rd, Building D, Walled Lake, MI  48390
