GSRP and Head Start

Enrollment is based on income, family need, and availability for both free programs. We will contact families who have expressed interest in the free programs when we are ready to begin enrollment screenings.

Head Start:

Enrollment is based on income, family need, and availability for both free programs. We will contact families who have expressed interest in the free programs when we are ready to begin enrollment screenings.

Head Start is a federally funded program for 3 and 4 year old children. Families must meet federal income guidelines (100% federal poverty level.)  Children may be enrolled whose families are over income when there are additional risk factors. Ten percent of our slots for children are reserved for children with diagnosed disabilities.  Classes are Monday through Thursday.

We welcome your family to our program! Call Tracy at 248.956.5089 for information.

Please be a part of our Parent group! Your input will make our program stronger.

Eligibility is determined by income and other factors such as developmental delays or difficult family situations. Families income for free preschool would meet up to 250% on the guideline link below.  Call Robin at 248.956.5091 for information.

GSRP classes have 16 children, one certified Early Childhood Teacher, and an Assistant Teacher. Your help is appreciated and requested in the classroom. Please, come play with us. All that you need to bring is your smile. If you would feel more comfortable helping in another way, let us know. There are many opportunities to share your talents and skills.

The Parent Handbook and Calendar has information that we hope you find helpful. Please also look at the parent resource page for other links to ideas and programs that are helpful to parents. The Parent Resource room in the Community Education Center, LL2, has several rocking chairs, a changing table, a coffee pot. Please visit at any time, this is a place for you to relax on your own or to chat with some new friends you've met at preschool. There are pamphlets and movies that you may find helpful, too.
