The Foundation for Excellence proudly awarded these funds in support of professional development and student achievement in accordance with District curriculum.  These grant awards compliment one or more of the Foundation’s core initiatives; technology/instruction, literacy, leadership and community. Our WLCSD classrooms will benefit from the innovative and/or creative educational tools provided through funding of these grants.

Funding for the Foundation for Excellence mini-grant program is derived from the donations received from honorariums and memorials, alumni gifts, business and community support, “Count on Me” employee, payroll direct donation program, and through our fundraising effort.  The Foundation wishes to thank its supportive community for furthering its mission - building a strong foundation…. one child at a time.
