The goal of all fundraisers is to provide support for the students and teachers of Glengary Elementary School. School fundraising activities finance many of the exciting activities that go on at our school. Some of the easiest ways to contribute require a little of your time, rather than your money. These include clipping the Box Tops for Education labels from your groceries or shopping at Kroger's. Occasionally, fundraisers ask that you consider participating in an activity, such as the Fun Run.
Most importantly, the greatest gift you can give our school is your time. Consider joining a PTA committee or volunteering to work in a classroom or at our Variety Show. Your involvement helps our school, and it shows your children that you value education and are willing to give of yourself to make our school a wonderful place to learn and grow.
A HUGE THANK YOU to all of the students and parents for your pledges! Thanks to you, we were able to raise OVER $15,000! Your support enables us to continue paying for field trips, assemblies, technology, staff grants and so much more to benefit ALL of the students and staff at Glengary. The students met their fundraising goal and will tape Mr. Vogt to the wall sometime this year!

When you purchase groceries, watch for the Box Tops for Education symbol. Clip the symbols and deposit them in a container in front of the school office. Glengary Elementary School receives 10 cents for each symbol collected. This is a cost-free and simple way to contribute, and those dimes add up!

Gator Crossing Track
Gator Crossing Track
The Gator Crossing Track Committee met our 2015-2016 goal and the Gator Crossing walking track 1/5 of a mile track was installed on the playground of Glengary Elementary in July 2016.!We would like to thank our parent, student and business communities for your support in helping us achieve this goal. Along with a robust walking/running track, a walking path for our students, who walk to school and enter the playground from Brisbane Street, was also included. Our students will use the track for PE Class, annual Fun Run, Field Day, Girls on the Run, Stride, Mileage club, after school activities and community events.
Our vision is that the Gator Crossing Walking Track will provide another safe avenue for children to increase activity both during the school day and after school. We also hope that the track can provide a place for a child to go when he/she may not have a playmate at recess. If that child starts to walk or run around that track, chances are, someone will want to join them! Our playground is accessible to the community during the evening hours and throughout the summer. The track would make a welcome addition to all of our existing playground equipment!
