Teacher of the Year Nominations being taken now

The Walled Lake Consolidated Schools are again participating in a program to honor exemplary teachers. We hope you will join us in an effort that will result in the selection of the TEACHER/EDUCATOR OF THE YEAR for the Walled Lake Consolidated School District at the elementary, middle school and high school levels. This honor will be bestowed at our January 12, 2017 school board meeting. Each school building will select a teacher of the year and that person's name will be submitted to the district committee for final selection. All names will be removed from the forms and only the building principal will have knowledge of the candidate's name. The principal will appoint a committee to help with the local selection. That person's name will then be submitted to the district committee. We are requesting that this form be returned to your school NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, OCTOBER 28, 2016. More...
