Skill Development Tips

Easy tips for parents regarding academic skill development

Developing academic skills in our students is crucial to our students. These skills include the following areas: organization, time management, studying, note taking, test taking, summarizing, and critical thinking.  A student who is strong in these areas is much more likely to be successful in middle school, high school, and beyond.  Please take the time to look over the documents attached below.  They contain many ideas and suggestions which are simple to implement.  Our staff will be working with our students in these areas as well.  The skills cannot be given too much attention as your child prepared for high school and a post-secondary education.
