Course Note: Completion of this class will meet the state-approved formal CTE program for 1.0 exchange credit in Science or World Language or Visual, Performing & Applied Arts.
This course offers the student an opportunity to learn the methods and procedures required to design, implement, and maintain effective web sites. Students develop skills to produce web-ready communications, learn graphic design principles, web site development and web site design strategies. Projects focus on a variety of graphical images, logos, banners, web sites, web photo albums and interactive graphics. Students will be exposed to the capabilities and structure of HTML coding, and use Adobe Dreamweaver to design, build and administer web sites and Adobe Photoshop to develop graphics. This course is a related course for High Tech Work-Based Learning (Co-op). Students should contact the CTE teacher for more information. Through an articulation agreement with Oakland Community College and Baker College, students may contact a CTE teacher for more information. Prerequisite: 91341 - Web Design 1B

This course offers the student an opportunity to gain real world experience in the field of Web Design by building and maintaining websites. Students will expand their knowledge of design techniques and animation skills that will enhance the productivity and layouts of their sites. A continuation of good design principles from Web Design 1 are also emphasized and evaluated. During this course students will complete the skills necessary to achieve Adobe Certifications in this and future classes. This course is a related course for High Tech Work-Based Learning (Co-op). Students should contact the CTE teacher for more information. Through an articulation agreement with Oakland Community College and Baker College, students may contact a CTE teacher for more information.
