The Walled Lake Consolidated School District welcomes members of the media into our schools and strives to provide the most accurate and timely information available.

Interview Requests

Filming on Campus

If you would like to visit a school or the district office, please contact Director of Community Relations Dan Durkin at (248) 956-2017 or via e-mail at danieldurkin@wlcsd.org. Please be prepared to outline the nature of your request and a few dates and times that work with your schedule.

Photographing Students and Staff

Some students choose not to be photographed. The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) allows students and parents to opt out of the release of certain information about students, including photographs, and the Walled Lake Consolidated School District operates in compliance with this law. Before we can allow anyone to take photos, video and/or quotes from our students, a school administrator or the Director of Community Relations must confirm.
