Registration Information

Classes fill up quickly. Registration for all programs is done online. Registration for most programs remains open until 24 hours prior to the start date of the class. Once maximum enrollment is met registration closes. A waitlist option is available for most classes.

You can view all available programs for the current session through our online brochure. You can register for classes from your smartphone or tablet using the online brochure. There is a 3.49% NON-REFUNDABLE service fee applied to all online registrations.

Plan to attend class unless otherwise notified. You will be contacted by EMAIL if class is canceled or the time/date/location has changed.

Registrations ARE NOT accepted at class.

Some classes require material fees and are noted in the class descriptions. Material fees are paid directly to the instructor at the first class.

All classes and clinics are Peanut Free! As youth activities through Community Education are considered extra-curricular school activities and the Student Code of Conduct will apply.

It is the policy of the Walled Lake School District to comply with federal laws prohibiting discrimination on the basis of race, religion, age, sex, marital status, or against otherwise qualified handicapped individuals.

Walled Lake Community Education is completely funded by your class fees.

Weather Cancellations and Postponements

If the Walled Lake School District is closed due to adverse weather conditions, all Community Education programs will also be closed for that day. All clients will be notified by EMAIL of rescheduled classes on the next business day.

After School Adventures

After School Adventure classes can only be attended at the student’s home school. Please make sure when you register, that you are choosing a class held at your child’s school.

Online Registration

Select the Program Guide and take advantage of our online registration. Scroll through the pages and click the Class # when you are ready to register.

Upon registration, you will receive your RECEIPT via EMAIL. Please include a valid EMAIL ADDRESS when submitting registration forms.

In-Person Registration

When mailing your registration, include the completed registration form, and check or money order. Checks are to be made payable to WLCSD.

All class fees are due when registering.

Refund Policy

Most classes require a minimum enrollment in order to be held. A full refund will be granted for all programs canceled. If as class time, date, or location is changed and you cannot attend, a full refund will be issued.

  • Refunds will be assessed a $10 service fee.

  • NO refund will be issued with less than 24 hour notice.

For class withdrawals/refunds, please contact Community Education.

We do not issue cash refunds. Refunds are processed via credit card or with a district check. District checks may take up to 21 business days for processing. There are NO REFUNDS for special events or “mini” classes (those meeting two times or less)
