Community Choice Foundation
Community Choice Foundation is proud to announce that applications are now open for college, continuing education, and skilled trades scholarships.
A total of $100,000 will be awarded to deserving students in 2023, with 15 $5,000 college scholarships, six $2,500 continuing education scholarships and four $2,500 skilled trades scholarships.

Requirements:
- Must be a Michigan Resident
- Attend a Michigan-based institution, academy or training program following graduation.
Legacy Scholarship Funds
The LSF is a Michigan Corporation licensed by the State Attorney General to solicit contributions from the public. It is recognized by the United States Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) public charity.
Its function is to establish numerous individual scholarship funds, manage their contributions, oversee the application, selection and fund distribution processes to graduating high school seniors from numerous school districts, and handle school liaison and all reporting requirements.
Scholarships for graduates of specific schools and districts presently include: Walled Lake Consolidated School District, Farmington Public Schools, Farmington Hills Mercy High School, MioAuSable High School, and Oxford High School.
The scholarships available through LSF were created to memorialize students, coaches, and educators, as well as family members of residents of the Walled Lake and surrounding school districts. They also include scholarships established by local businesses, school retirees, athletic booster clubs, and the Walled Lake Education Association.
Michigan Schools and Government Credit Union
The Michigan Schools and Government Credit Union (MSGCU) is accepting applications for its annual scholarship program now through February 28, 2023.

Non-members are welcome to apply, but must become a member if selected as a scholarship recipient. The MSGCU offers the following scholarships:
Educational Solutions Scholarship helps high school seniors with plans to attend college with 18 scholarships of $2,500 each.
Rudolph Heino High School Scholarship is perfect for high school seniors heading to college with a demonstrated commitment to helping others. Five scholarships of $2,500 are offered.
Larry Swantek Educational Studies Scholarship benefits high school seniors and current college students planning to become teachers with four scholarships of $2,500.
Milo Perreault Educator Advantage Scholarship helps certified educators and administrators continue their education. They can apply for one of four scholarships of $2,500.
William Cayen Skilled Trades Scholarship of $2,500 each is granted to two individuals pursuing certification in electrical, HVAC, automotive, or other industrial and advanced technologies or skilled trades programs.
On a Dragonfly's Wings
On A Dragonfly’s Wings Scholarship Program is designed for those graduating high school and pursuing a higher level of education in the field of mental health. This includes fields such as psychology, social work, counseling, or recreational therapy.
The scholarship is worth $2000 in total, with a minimum of $500 awarded per student.

- 2023 graduating high school senior
- Minimum unweighted GPA of 3.50
- Pursuing a career in a mental health-related field
- Provide a copy of your high school transcripts
- Write a 300-word (minimum) essay
