Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972 prohibits discrimination based on sex education programs and activities in federally funded schools at all levels.
The Walled Lake Consolidated School District does not discriminate on the basis of sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, race, or national origins - in all aspects of our educational programs and activities for students and employees. The district also protects students and employees from sexual harassment. The Walled Lake Consolidated School District has appointed a Title IX Coordinator to comply and carry out their responsibilities, including training and education, under Title IX.
