Brian Rochowiak receives Golden Apple Award

Brian Rochowiak, transportation director with Dean Transportation was nominated by Judy Watts and numerous members of the transportation department because he cultivates a collaborative and welcoming atmosphere at the bus garage and inspires everyone to work as a team. 

Brian has a high degree of honesty and integrity and shows his commitment to the department and employees. He consistently seeks to help everyone by answering phones, driving routes and coordinating his employees.

Brian is a positive role model for others by how he handles conflict. He is adept at communicating with district employees, the community and his staff.  When issues arise, Brian is skilled at correcting the situation and making everyone involved feel at ease. 

Brian inspires his staff with consistent open and honest communication. In all of his interactions, he conducts himself with kindness and respect. Brian is approachable to new ideas and solutions.
