2021/22 Grant Program

Walled Lake Consolidated School District educators are invited to apply for grant funding to benefit Walled Lake Consolidated School District's classrooms. 

Application period open now through January 7, 2022. Grants will be awarded Feb/March 2022.



  • Drawing in June among Walled Lake Consolidated District's schools in appreciation for promoting the Foundation's mission, activities and fundraisers this school year.

  • Walled Lake Google Apps account must be utilized to access and complete Request Form. 


  • Funding guideline for this grant cycle per request is $500. 


  • Requests that necessitate exceeding $500 funding guideline per resuming District programs, large scale projects and/or are for vital educational support, may be submitted for consideration. 


  • Teachers are responsible for placing orders and/or completing purchases.


  • Paths available for grant requests: Classroom Library Literacy Program & All Other Requests (See Application)


  • Eligible needs:
    • Support for school and/or District's school improvement plans or goals
    • Requests that will benefit literacy & leadership; community & diversity; science, technology & the arts, or District programs 
    • Support for Social & Emotional Learning
  • Applicable uses of funds:
    • Educational tools
    • Projects
    • Resources, programs, and/or classroom activities 
    • Books
      • SUGGESTED LIST of diverse authors & themes for K-5
