50/50 Scholarship Raffle - 18th Annual

$50 per ticket or 3 tickets for $100  | Only 1,000 tickets available             

Grand Prize: 50% of proceeds when electing the Scholarship funds option. In 2022, the scholarship amount was $10,321.  The Foundation For Excellence will hold these funds for up to 20 years but they must be paid out within 4 years after the first payment.  (This means, if your child is an infant, the funds will still be available to you when they graduate!)

If electing a lump sum payout, 40% of the proceeds will be awarded.  Had the Lump Sum option been selected in 2022, the final payout would have been $5,842 after the required tax withholdings.  

Need not be present to win. 

Secondary Prize:  $1000

All tickets are being sold through in-person sales (no online orders).  Tickets are available at the Walled Lake Schools Federal Credit Union at 3095 S. Commerce Rd.

Rules and Regulations:

  • Raffle open to residents within and outside the Walled Lake School District
  • Winner has up to 20 years to assign funds & may be split among (4) students
  • Purchaser must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Funds raised by raffle will be channeled into the WL School District and its classrooms to support: programs, activities, and procurement of innovative, educational tools.
