About Us

     Welcome to Sarah Banks Middle School!  It is truly a pleasure to welcome you to what we consider one of the finest middle schools in the area.  We are a public school serving over 700 students each day. We have a devoted staff of teachers who dedicate themselves to every child, every day in the classrooms, hallways, and on the field of play.  We are confident that our students and families cherish the culture that has been created and look back on their time here at Sarah Banks as extremely important and beneficial to their overall education.

        We are proud, first and foremost, of the dedication of students and staff towards the education that takes place each and every day in the classrooms of our school.  In the core and encore classes, our students are challenged with the viable and proven curriculum of Walled Lake Schools provided with a mastery of differentiation, creativity, and individual focus from our exceptional teaching staff.  Through continuous professional development and personal reflection, this is a singularly devoted set of educational professionals who will guide your children through their middle school years.

        Education does not stop when the bell rings, however.  Banks is a school thriving with extra-curricular opportunities.  From our many athletic teams to the fine and performing arts, and club opportunities, Banks offers a way for every student to get involved after school.
